About the technology author(s)

Charles Burkett began his career at IBM in 1991 as a software engineer working on the Teleprocessing Network Simulator (TPNS). From there, he moved to StarSNA for OS/2 for the PowerPC, where he developed the Subsystem Management suite of tools. In 1996, Mr. Burkett began work on the TaskGuide project, where he helped get the VisualAge C++ version of the TaskGuide engine shipped with OS/2 Warp v4. Since then, he has assisted in moving the TaskGuide engine to Win32 (C++) and Java.

Fred Simmons is an Advisory Programmer at IBM.
