Dr. Suresh Kumar is a research staff member at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. His current interests include collaborative computing, remote presentation over the Internet, and remote program administration using the WWW.
Originally from Bangalore, India, Dr. Kumar received his Bachelor's degree from IIT Madras in 1987. He received his Ph.D. at Princeton University in 1992. Upon graduating, he joined IBM Research, where he developed a number of simulation and visualization techniques for the design of portable computers and HDDs.
