About the technology author(s):
Peter Hsu is a software engineer who joined IBM in September 1997. He is a member of the UI Architecture group in Austin, Texas, and he designed the HTML, HTML generation, and user interfaces in NavBuilder. Mr. Hsu received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He is interested in user interfaces, Web site management, and the Internet. Jim Hsu is a software engineer who joined IBM in May 1997. He is a member of the Software Group Technology Center in Austin, Texas, and he wrote the NavBuilder Java program and installer code. Mr. Hsu received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He has contributed to two previous alphaWorks technologies: Distributed InfoBus and Install Toolkit for Java. Mr. Hsu is interested in technologies with immediate widespread impact, and he has worked with the development of Java programs that involve the Internet.
