Platform requirements

Operating systems: Windows® 2000 or XP

Software for ADIEU for PHP:

  • Apache HTTP Server 2.0.55
  • PHP 5.1.4
  • Zend Optimizer 3.0.0 or above
  • AFLAX library
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1) or Firefox 1.5 or above.

Software for ADIEU for Java:

  • J2EE 1.3
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1)
  • Either of the following:
    • IBM WebSphere Application Server 5.1 or above
    • Apache Tomcat 4.1 or above.

Installation instructions

For ADIEU for PHP:

  1. Make sure all requirements listed above are installed.
  2. Download adieuphp110.zip and unzip it in any temporary directory.
  3. Follow the directions in the Installation Guide (adieuphp/docs/ADIEU-PHP-IG.doc) for the specifics on setting up the evironment and installing the product.
  4. Copy \lib\AFLAX\aflax.swf to ADIEU_HOME\lib.
  5. Copy \lib\AFLAX\aflax.js to ADIEU_HOME\js.

For ADIEU for Java:

  1. Download adieu100.zip and unzip it in any temporary directory.
  2. Copy or deploy the file as follows, depending on your application server:
    • Tomcat: Copy adieu.war into the Tomcat application directory. For example:
        C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.0\webapps\
    • WebSphere Application Server (WAS): Deploy adieuEAR.ear using the Administrative Console of WAS.
  3. For further information, please refer to the included InstallationGuide_xx.html file.
