Asynchronous IO for Java
A Java Package providing Asynchronous IO capabilities for Sockets and Files.

Platform requirements
Operating systems:
- Windows® NT 3.5, 2000, or XP
- Linux® with 2.6 Kernel (eg SuSE SLES 9) on IA32 systems
- AIX® 5.2 or above with the iocp kernel extension
Software: Java™ Run-time Environment (JRE) 1.4.1 or above
Installation instructions
- Unpack the zip file.
- Install the ibmaio.jar file in the classpath or in the /jre/lib directory; this file contains the Java code of the package.
- Install the ibmaio.dll (libibmaio.so on UNIX® systems) in a location on the library path, such as /jre/bin.
Package documentation is available in the ibmaiodoc.jar file, as a set of HTML files in JavaDoc format.
