Platform requirements

Operating systems: HP-UX Version 10, Windows® 2000, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP

Hardware:

  • AMD Opteron, Intel® Pentium® processor at 500 MHz or above, or Intel EM64T (32-bit operating system support only)
  • 15 MB
  • 512 MB minimum physical memory; 1 GB recommended
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Screen resolution: Minimum: 800 x 600 pixels, 256 colors. Recommended: 1024 x 768 pixels, 16-bit color or above.
  • Mouse/pointing device: any pointing device with at least two buttons
Software:
  • 32-bit WebSphere® Application Server 6.0 (complementary trial version available)
  • Web browser: Internet Explorer 6 without any service pack or with SP1

Notes:

  • Please ensure that alepreview.zip file is unzipped into a folder whose path does not include spaces.
  • Please ensure that WC_defaulthost is set to 9080.

Installation instructions

  1. Make sure WebSphere Application Server 6.0 is installed and that WC_defaulthost is set to 9080.
  2. Unzip the alepreview.zip file in a folder such as c:\ettk.
  3. Change directory to c:\ettk\ale\setup.
  4. Run the batch script setup.bat.
