Device Alert Mashup Application on Map

Operating system: Windows. (Other operating systems should work but are not extensively tested.)

Software:

• IBM JRE 1.4.2 or above
• IBM WebSphere version 6
• Mozilla Firefox

Agent side:

• IBM JRE 1.4.2 or above
• IBM WebSphere version 6

Client side:

• Mozilla Firefox

1. Install and setup IBM WebSphere server
2. Download the required libraries:
   commons-codec-1.3.jar
   commons-httpclient-3.1.jar
   commons-logging-1.1.1.jar
   log4j-1.2.9.jar
   SNMP4J.jar
3. Download and deploy "Device Alert Mashup Application on Map" application into WebSphere
4. Acquire license key for GoogleMaps API
5. Configure environment variable 'DATACENTER_HOME', then configure license and device settings into file: DataCenterSite.xml
6. Monitor alerts on the map
