His main areas of interest are J2EE™ development, Web technologies, Web 2.0, GUI design, software engineering, software architecture, and IT security. Mr. Parekh holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree in software design and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Mike Orth is a software engineer with the IBM Software Group at Research Triangle Park, N.C. He has been involved in the development and support of applications for the mid-market industry as well as network security consulting with the IBM Consulting Group's National Networking Practice. His main areas of interest are networking, software engineering, and IT security. Mr. Orth graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a B.S. in communications, majoring in voice and data telecommunications management.
Drew Schechter is a software engineer with the IBM Software Group at Research Triangle Park, N.C. His previous work has focused on designing and developing both tools and solutions for the SMB mid-market space. He also contributed to alphaWorks the Framework for Application Data and Sources technology. Mr. Schechter holds a B.S. in mathematical sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
