About the technology author(s)

Yuan-Chi Chang is currently a research staff member at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center. He received his PhD and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, in 1998 and 1996, respectively. He received his BS from National Taiwan University in 1991. Dr. Chang has wide research interests in distributed computing, multimedia, database, and network communications. He is a US patent holder and has published over twenty papers in recent years.

Vijay Kumar Sethia graduated from Regional Engineering College, Calicut, India. Mr. Sethia is a senior software engineer at IBM Global Services, India, and currently works at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center.
