IBM Assembly Visualizer for Cell Broadband Engine

A tool that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for viewing the static analysis results of a Synergistic Processing Element (SPE) program and that enables safe, interactive hand-tuning of assembly.

Platform requirements

Operating systems: Windows®, Linux® (tested)

Software: Java™ 6 or above (tested on both IBM® and Sun JREs). GNU Java is not supported because it currently lacks Swing support.

Installation instructions

  1. Download the JAR file.
  2. Type java –jar asmVis.jar foo.s, where foo.s is the name of your assembly file.
