About the technology author(s)
Christina Carrick worked in an academic research environment before joining IBM in 2000. She is currently a software developer at IBM's Pacific Development Centre in Vancouver, specializing in Java development for e-business solutions. Ms. Carrick is the BabbleNet Team Lead & XP Coach.
Denis Sokolov came to Canada from Belarus and is currently an e-business software developer in IBM’s Pacific Development Centre. Denis is a P2P protocol expert. Being the biggest Extreme Programming (XP) supporter on the team, Mr. Sokolov took an active part in all stages of the project, from the design to the successful finish.
Robin Moore, super-star programmer and IBM Pacific Development Centre software developer, is not a pair-programming enthusiast. He did, however, contribute significant amounts of individual and pair programmed code to the BabbleNet routing mechanism, domain, and UI.
Vincent Chan is a software developer at IBM's Vancouver Innovation Centre and a pair-programming enthusiast. He is primarily focused on Java and Enterprise Java e-business solutions, and he has a wide range of experience in the telecommunications and government/public sectors. Mr. Chan is responsible for the P2P protocol definition and development.
Rachel Shen is a software developer at IBM's Pacific Development Centre in Vancouver. She has an academic background in computer networking and working experience in C++ and Java development. Ms. Shen is responsible for BabbleNet commandline.
