Platform requirements for Call Control XML Interpreter

Operating systems: Any Java platform

Java tool: IBM JVM 1.4.1

Software:

  • WebSphere Voice Response for AIX® 5.1.0. with ML3
  • Voice Response Beans Environment (VRBE_XML) version 3.1.0.10 installed on your WVR system.
  • A Voice Response Node (VRNode) that is compliant with the WebSphere and JVM listed above. (VoiceXML dialogs that are created by the <dialogstart> element can run on any node that has VoiceXML configured and that is compliant with the WebSphere and JVM listed above.)

Installation instructions for Call Control XML Interpreter

  1. For each AIX machine that is being used to run either a CCXML Interpreter or a VoiceXML browser, copy both .jar files to the following directory: /var/dirTalk/DTBE/server/. (Note: Ensure that all groups have Read and Execute access to these .jar files (chmod 555).
  2. Make a back-up copy of your dtjflog file.
  3. Copy the dtjflog file to the following directory: /var/dirTalk/DTBE/native/aix/.
  4. Copy start.ccxml to the following directory: /var/dirTalk/DTBE/native/aix/ccxml/. (Note: Ensure that all groups have Read and Execute access to the start.ccxml file (chmod 555).
