Platform requirements

Operating systems: Windows® XP Pro

Hardware:

  • CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 or equivalent or above
  • RAM: 512 MB or more (1 GB recommended)
  • Hard disk: 100 or more available MB
  • Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 or above
  • DPI: 96

Software:

  • IBM® ViaVoice® 10 or 10.5 (for installing the CES Recorder). (Tested ViaVoice versions: Versions 10.0 Japanese, 10.0 English, 10.5 Japanese.)
  • Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking, Version 9 (tested: Version 9 English)
  • Recommended option: RealPlayer RealOne Player 1, RealOne Player 2, RealPlayer 10, or RealPlayer 10.5.
Note: If you already have an old version of IBM Caption Editing System, please completely uninstall it before installing this new version.

Installation instructions

  1. Unzip CES_V22161_5_10_Trial.zip.
  2. Run Setup.exe.
