• For disconnected mode operations: Eclipse 3.0 only
• For connected mode (including complete forward and reverse engineering functionality with DB2 Content Manager):
• IBM DB2 8.1
• IBM Information Integrator for Content (formerly EIP) 8.2 with Fix Pack 3

Installation instructions for Data Architect for DB2 Content Manager The installation files, included in the zip file, contain the following directories:

• eclipse: eclipse installation with all the required plug-ins
• doc: documentation for the EMF model and other documentation
• samples: example model files and sample code for using the EMF API.

1. Unzip the installation file into a directory.
2. To run, double-click on eclipse from the Eclipse directory.
