1. Can I change the code and redistribute it? Why is the license restricted to 90 days?
Please see the license for terms of use. This code is licenced and distributed through alphaWorks with a limited license in part because it can be released much more easily using the frequently-used processes provided by alphaWorks. The author of the code is seeking to release the code with a more flexible license; however, this process increases the cost of releasing the code and would have delayed its release.
