Component Templates for Assets and Artifacts

Platform requirements
Operating systems: Windows® (other systems not yet tested)
Software: Eclipse 3.0 or above (tested on Eclipse 3.0 and Eclipse 3.2)
Installation instructions
- Download ct4aa.zip into a temporary directory, such as C:\temp. Unzip ct4aa.zip. This action will create C:\temp\CT4AA Update Site.
- Launch the Eclipse Install/Update tool: On the Eclipse menu bar, select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install....
- Select Search for new features to install, and click on Next.
- In Eclipse 3.0: Click on New Local Site... and use the "Browse" dialog box to select the CT4AA Update Site directory created in Step 1. Click on OK.
In Eclipse 3.2: Follow the above instructions; then click on OK in the "Edit Local Site" dialog box.
- In Eclipse 3.0: Check the box next to the CT4AA Update Site entry in the list of update sites, and then click on Next.
In Eclipse 3.2: Ensure that the box next to the CT4AA Update Site entry in the list of update sites is checked, and then click on Finish.
- Check the box next to the Component Templates for Assets and Artifacts entry on the list of features to install, and then click on Next.
- Review the license agreement and, if you agree to the terms, select the I accept the terms in the license agreements radio button. Then click on Next.
- In Eclipse 3.0: From the list of available sites, select the location where the feature will be installed and click on Finish. If required, click on Add Site... in order to create a new location.
In Eclipse 3.2: Click on Change Location... in order to select an installation location. If required, click on Add Location... in order to create a new location. Click on OK and then click on Finish.
- On the JAR Verification dialog box, click on Install.
- Click on Yes in order to restart the workbench.
- Two new icons should now be visible on the toolbar. If the icons are not visible, then select Window > Reset Perspective on the Eclipse menu bar. If the icons are still not visible, then check the Eclipse Error Log view for problems.
Uninstallation instructions
- Launch the Eclipse Product Configuration tool, as follows: On the Eclipse menu bar, select Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration....
- Select the installation location for the feature, and click on the "plus" symbol next to it.
- Select the Component Templates for Assets and Artifacts entry, right-click on it (use the second mouse button), and select Uninstall from the pop-up menu.
- Click on OK in order to confirm the removal of this feature.
- Click on Yes in order to restart the workbench.
