CueVideo is pursuing other avenues with the objective of becoming part of a larger research project related to data management solutions. Please check back for more information on this technology in the future.

About the technology author(s)

The CueVideo toolkit was developed by Savitha Srinivasan, Arnon Amir and Dulce Ponceleon. Savitha is the manager of the Multimedia Knowledge Discovery group at IBM Almaden Research Center, where she introduced IBM's speech recognition technology to video indexing. Arnon is the lead researcher responsible for developing visual segmentation, storyboarding and fast video browse technologies. Dulce Ponceleon is the lead researcher in audio/video codecs and video summarization. The ongoing research in the group includes advanced speech retrieval, video segmentation and topic detection, and video summarization and visualization.
