2. Can this technology be used on other platforms supported by Virtualization Engine, Release 2?

Yes, the console portion can be used in any VE R2-supported platform. However, the only users that can be managed are users of X-Linux operating systems and users of Virtualization Engine in LDAP.

4. What are the limitations in using this technology?

This technology is intended for VE customers administering users in the Virtualization Engine environment. For those customers administering enterprise users, we recommend IBM products such as Tivoli Identity Manager, which is a complete solution with more advanced features.
