decNumber++

Hardware:

• 500,000 bytes of free disk space for the source files and documentation
• 50,000 bytes of free disk space for compiled core modules (depending on the compiler and target machine)

Software:

• an ISO C compiler
• a recent ISO C++ compiler

1. Download and install the decNumber library. Be sure to compile the decNumber source as C code, not C++.
2. Unzip the downloadable decNumber++ file to a suitable directory.
3. Compile the decNumber++ source files (*.cpp) as C++ code (not C), and link the resulting object files to the decNumber library produced in Step 1.
