IBM DLPAR Tool Set for pSeries
A set of tools that enhance the usability of the Dynamic Logical Partitioning feature in AIX 5.2 and later releases running on pSeries P4 and P5 servers (such as models p690, p670, p570, p550, etc.).

Platform requirements
Operating system: AIX® 5.2 running on an IBM® pSeries® server (model p690 or p670)
Software: Perl script (Perl comes with AIX, but the administrator must manually install the Perl sub-package.)
Installation instructions
- Download the file.
- "Untar" the TAR file obtained from the .../IBMpSeriesDLPAR_Toolset/code/ subdirectory to a directory that the system adminstrator uses. For example, for directory /opt/dlparToolset/, type the following:
cd /opt; mkdir dlparToolset; cd dlparToolset
tar -xvf dlparToolset2000.tar
