Installation instructions

  1. Download the binary zip file (com.ibm.dptk.zip) and unzip its contents into the /eclipse/plugins directory in the Eclipse installation directory.
  2. Restart Eclipse or IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer.

Using Design Pattern Toolkit: As described in the Eclipse-based help for the tool, patterns can be deployed in files of type patzip. The Design Pattern Toolkit will look for these files in a directory of your choice; choose the directory on the preferences page (Window > Preferences > Patterns). Sample patterns and descriptions of how to use them are located in the /samples directory.
