IBM OmniFind Personal E-mail Search

Operating systems: Windows® 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP (32-bit versions only), or Windows Vista (32-bit versions only).

Note: On Windows Vista (32-bit only): By default, a certain security feature called Universal Access Control (UAC) is enabled on Vista installations. In order to use IBM OmniFind Personal E-mail Search, you must turn off the UAC feature.

Software:

• Lotus® Notes® (Version 6.0 or above) or Microsoft® Outlook (Version 2003 or above)
• Internet Explorer (Version 5.0 or above) or Mozilla Firefox (Version 1.5 or above)

1. IBM® OmniFind Personal E-mail Search comes in two "flavors": one for use with Lotus Notes and another for use with Microsoft Outlook. On a given machine, only one of the two flavors can be used at any one time.
2. Depending on your preference, download either the installer file named IOPES-Notes-Windows.exe or the one named IOPES-Outlook-Windows.exe. Save the file at a convenient location on disk.
3. After the download is complete, double-click on the file to start installation.
