Platform requirements

Operating systems: Linux®

Software:

  • Red Hat EL3 or above
  • Suse SLS 8 or above
  • Yellow Dog 4.0.1 (Y-HPC)

Installation Instructions

  1. Install the RPM package as follows: $ rpm -ihv <packagefile>
  2. Go to the installation directory, as follows: $ cd <installdir>

    By default, <installdir> is /opt/ibm/fdprpro.

  3. Follow the instructions in the README.txt file in the share/doc subdirectory. This includes accepting the license agreement, setting some environment variables, and running a test that verifies the success of the installation.
