Hierarchical Inherited Rule-Interpreted XML

Platform requirements

Operating systems: Any OS with Java
Software: Eclipse 3.1 (for launch example only; not required for run time)

Installation instructions

For set-up convenience, the example is packaged as an Eclipse project. The example will run outside Eclipse with proper configuration for your environment.

  1. Download the zip file.
  2. Unzip the file into any local directory.
  3. Launch Eclipse.
  4. On the menu, go to File > Import > Existing Projects into Workspace....
  5. Click on Next.
  6. Select the radio button Select archive file.
  7. Click on Browse, and locate the hirixml_example_project.zip in the directory in which you extracted the zip file.
  8. Click on Finish.
  9. The "dolphin-hirix-example-xml" project will be created in your workspace.
  10. Select Run > Run... > Java Application > HirixExample. This action will execute the HirixExample.java file. Output will go to the Eclipse console.
