1. Does the tool work on any release of DB2®, Version 8?

The TAR file contains the binary built on DB2 8.2.2. If you would like to use the tool on any other release other than 8.2.2, please e-mail the engineer and you will be provided with a version of the tool that works on your release.

4. Can the tool work on existing MDC tables?

Yes, the tool can be used on existing MDC tables to estimate the space requirements if an existing MDC table is clustered on columns other than the ones on which it is currently clustered.

5. Does the tool work on partitioned tables?

No. Currently the tool is not supported on partitioned tables.
