1. Why do I get "NoClassDefFoundError" exceptions when I'm running this tool?

The Metadata Migration Tool for DB2 Content Manager uses some external packages to parse the XML document and generate the XML file. If these packages are not installed, the tool will generate a "NoClassDefFoundError" exception. Please check the lib directory under the installation path and make sure that the following packages are contained in this directory:

    cmtool.jar
    db2java.zip
    icmsdk81.jar
    log4j-1.2.9.jar
    xercesImpl.jar
    crimson.jar
    xml-apis.jar

If one or more packages are missing, you will need to find and install them. Please refer to the Installation Instructions.
