Platform requirements for Mock Translation Input Method Editor
Operating systems: Any Java platform
Java tools: Java 2, Standard Edition, Run-time Environment (JRE) 1.3.1 or above
Other: Unicode-based fonts capable of displaying East Asian scripts (and other scripts, if MT IME was customized to use those scripts by the user)
Notes:
- MT IME supports only Java applications that have the frame window with the system menu.
- MT IME does not support Java applets or Java applications that do not use a Java Run-time Environment on which the MT IME was installed.
Installation instructions for Mock Translation Input Method Editor
- Download the file into a directory of your choice.
- Launch InstallShield by typing
from a command prompt in the directory where you downloaded the application. Then follow the onscreen instructions.
InstallShield will copy following files and directories under the lib/ext directory of the current Java Run-time Environment:

Uninstalling MT IME
Launch InstallShield's uninstaller by typing
from a command prompt in the lib/ext/MockIME/_uninst directory of the current Java Run-time Environment. Then follow the onscreen instructions.
