Platform requirements

Operating systems: any Windows® version capable of supporting the software below

Software:

Run-time environment:

  • Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.0
  • IBM® Message Service Client for .NET (Version 1.2.4 or above)
  • IBM WebSphere® MQ classes for .NET (IBM WebSphere MQ 6.0 + Refresh Pack 6.0.1.2 or above)
Note: A WebSphere MQ 6 queue manager must also be available, either locally to connect to by using an unmanaged bindings mode connection or remotely by using a fully-managed client mode connection.

Development environment:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
  • Microsoft Windows SDK for Vista and the .NET Framework 3.0
  • Optional: Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for .NET 3.0 (WCF & WPF) Framework 3.0

Installation instructions

The installation is provided as a zipped directory structure that includes all files necessary for developing and running the package on your machine.

  1. Remove any previous versions of this technology.
  2. Download and unzip the file into the required directory.
