AIX Installp Packaging Tools

Jennifer Dietrich graduated from Texas A & M University in May 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with minors in Electrical Engineering, Math, and Physics. She has been employed with IBM since June 1989. Currently, Ms. Dietrich is the AIX Packaging Architect, and she actively works at rewriting and improving the LPP Owners Guide and other documentation used to develop installp installation images. She is also an active member of the Packaging Integration Test team in Austin as well as of the Austin LPP Release Management team.

Ms. Dietrich is currently working on future releases and enhancments to the AIX packaging and installation process at IBM Austin. She regularly offers classes on packaging in installp format through Austin Education (course number IAUAIX0C) and travels to teach this class at other locations when requested.
