IBM Personal Presenter
A simple, serverless means of producing and distributing rich media content consisting of video, audio, and slides from the originator's computer to multiple clients.

Platform requirements
Operating systems: Windows® or Linux®
Hardware:
- RAM of 512 MB (recommended minimum)
- CPU of 1 GHz (recommended minimum)
- For video capture for IBM Personal Presenter: a WebCam or a video capture card.
Note: Use of lower-end CPUs may result in a reduced frame rate or jerky and uneven video playback. You can increase efficiency by reducing the video capture frame rate and size in the Configuration.
Software (on Windows®):
- Java™ Run-time Environment (JRE) 1.4.2 or above
- For IBM Personal Presenter (not needed for IBM Personal Viewer): DirectX 9.0 or above
Software (on Linux®): JRE 1.4.2 or above
Installation instructions
Download and execute the installation package, which will guide you through the installation process. Both IBM Personal Presenter and IBM Personal Viewer will be installed.
IBM Personal Viewer can also be run as an applet on Windows.
