An Eclipse plug-in that enables users to create partitions.xml files that can be used to define a WASXD application's partitions and partition expressions.

Installing PFE for WASXD
- Close Eclipse.
- Unzip PFE_Editor.zip into your Eclipse directory.
- Restart Eclipse.
Installing detailed online help
- Close Eclipse.
- Unzip PFE_Help.zip into your Eclipse directory.
- Restart Eclipse.
Accessing detailed online help from Eclipse
- Go to Help -> Help Contents.
- Select Partitioning Facility Editor for WebSphere Extended Deployment.
Creating new partitions.xml (For details, please see the online help.)
- First create a new file with a .wpf extension in your project.
- Double-click on this file to invoke the WPF Editor.
- Click on Add (under Regular Expressions) to add a regular expression by example.
- Enter your sample HTTP request, from which the request will be built.
- In order to build an ordered parameter list, drag and drop parameters or put in plain text.
- Click on Add (under Partitions) to add a partition name.
- Once your .wpf file has been saved, you may generate the partitions.xml file by right-clicking on the .wpf file and choosing Create partitions.xml.
