Platform requirements

Operating systems: Windows®, Linux®, AIX®, or Sun OS (tested on Windows)

Software: Java 1.4.2 or above

Installation instructions

  1. Unzip rail.zip into the c:\rail directory.
  2. Change directory: cd c:\rail

    Besides the files necessary to run the RAIL demo, this directory contains the following:

    • README.txt: instructions on installation and running the demo
    • rail.doc: some examples and brief description of the RAIL technology
    • IEEE.pdf: a paper describing RAIL technology in detail (this paper appeared in IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks ol. 16, no. 5, pp. 1088-1109, September 2005)
    Additional papers on RAIL and related issues are also available.
  3. Run demostartserver.bat.
