Resource Model Builder Debugger for UNIX

A tool that allows graphical debugging of ITM Resource Models on Linux and UNIX.

Platform requirements for Resource Model Builder Debugger for UNIX

Operating systems: Red Hat Linux 7.2, Solaris 9, AIX 5.2

Computer: A UNIX endpoint with ITM 5.1.2 installed

JAR files:

    debug.jar

Scripts:

    debug_common.sh
    debug_jscript.sh
    debug_jscript_cli.sh
    debug_main.js

debug_jscript.sh and debug_jscript_cli.sh were successfully tested against all of the DMX resource models on the following platforms:

    Red Hat Linux 7.2
    Solaris 9
    AIX 5.2

A resource model that uses a custom script was also successfully tested for Linux and Solaris.

Installation instructions for Resource Model Builder Debugger for UNIX

  1. Set up your Tivoli endpoint environment variables:
    • - . /etc/Tivoli/lcf/1/lcf_env.sh
  2. Change to the ITM engine directory:
    • - cd $LCF_DATDIR/LCFNEW/Tmw2k/Unix
  3. Extract rmdebug.tar.gz:
    • - gunzip rmdebug.tar.gz
      - tar -xvf rmdebug.tar
  4. Make sure all shell files are executable:
    • - chmod +x *.sh
