Platform requirements

Operating systems: 32-bit Windows® XP or 2003

Software:

  • Java™ 1.4.2_17, 1.50_15, 6u10, or above
  • .NET 2.0 or above
  • Windows SNMP WMI support
  • Network connectivity to a BladeCenter® and N-Series Filer
  • IBM® BladeCenter
  • IBM Blade(s) with iSCSI BladeBoot™ Support and latest BIOS and BMC updates
  • IBM N-Series Filer at OnTap code level 7.1.1 or above.

Installation instructions

  1. Uninstall any previous versions of IBM iSCSI Boot Commander.
  2. Download and run the IBM iSCSI Boot Commander installer.
  3. Run IBM iSCSI Boot Commander.
  4. Select Installers from the menu bar.
  5. Install (or update) the required utilities.
