About the technology author(s):
Jordi Albornoz is a software engineer on the IBM Advanced Internet Technology team. He is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and an alumnus of IBM’s Extreme Blue program. Mr. Albornoz has been devoted to developing the Sash WDE and has interests in next-generation Web technologies.

Sean Martin is a senior technical staff member in IBM's Advanced Internet Technology Group in Cambridge, MA, and is one of the lead architects and implementers of Sash Weblications for Windows. Previously, Mr. Martin has designed and built much of the technology behind IBM's high-volume Web sites, including the Atlanta Olympics, Wimbledon, the US Open, and the Kasparov Chess matches. He was the inventor of IBM's prototype Web Object Manager (WOM) technology and has written various patents.

Lonnie McCullough is a software engineer in the IBM Internet Technology division. His primary interests include developing tools that simplify application development and deployment with a concentration on developing script-accessible software components. Mr. McCullough also has a deep interest in user interface design and thinks that computers are still too hard to use.

Dennis Quan is a software engineer in the IBM Internet Technology team. He is the chief architect of the Sash WDE and has been contributing to Sash development for several years. Mr. Quan's interests include user interface design, XML/Web Services technology, and improving the development experience.

Elias Torres, a software engineer on the IBM Internet Technology team, builds application prototypes and technologies for use within IBM and with customers. Mr. Torres has been a member of the IBM Sash development team for over a year and has a great interest in scripting, XML, and other key Web technologies.

Christopher Vincent is a software engineer on the IBM Internet Technology team and has contributed to IBM Sash since 1999. He has developed several common extensions, as well as many of the example weblications found on the Sash Web site.
