Software: SWT libraries from Eclipse
Installation instructions
- Download and unzip the SWT libraries from Eclipse into a directory.
- Download and unzip the Service Integration Bus Performance client code into a directory.
- Edit the following file:
- Windows® platforms: env.bat
- UNIX®-based platforms:env.sh
This file contains three environment variables that must be tailored to your particular system's configuration, as follows:
- The WAS_HOME variable should point to your WebSphere installation directory.
- The SWTJARS variable should point to the directory containing the downloaded SWT JARs.
- The SIBPerfDir variable should point to the directory containing the SIBPerf client code.
- On some UNIX-based systems, it may be necessary to ensure that the sibperf.sh has the executable flag set on it. Use the command chmod a+x sibperf.sh.
- Use the WebSphere admin console to enable PMI statistics, as follows:
- In the admin console, go to Monitoring and Tuning > Performance Monitoring Infrastructure > server.
- Check the Enable Performance Monitoring Infrastructure box.
- Click on Apply and Save.
- Restart the WAS server.
Note: If the box is already checked, no action is required.
The tool can now be launched by running the sibperf (.bat or .sh) script.
