IBM Server-Side Testing Scaffold for Java

A testing scaffold that makes Java server-side testing more agile by decoupling test logic and test contents using a generalized, dynamic proxy generation strategy.

Platform requirements

Operating systems: any Java™-compatible system

Software:

  • Java Run-time Environment (JRE) 1.4 or above
  • For the Java server side, one of the following:
    • WebSphere® Application Server 6.0 or above
    • WebSphere Enterprise Server 6.0 or above
    • WebSphere Process Server 6.0 or above.

Installation instructions

  1. Extract the contents of the zip file into a local directory. You might see the following files and directories:
    • Readme.txt: Readme file
    • chinchilla.jar: Server agent
    • chinclient.jar: Client
    • howtos: documents explaining how to use the scaffold
    • javadocs: Java document for the scaffold.
  2. Make sure the Java command is in PATH.
