Visual Configuration Explorer SDK

Operating systems: Windows® XP (other Windows operating systems should work but were not tested)

Installation of the Visual Configuration Explorer SDK usually takes more than an hour.

1. Unzip vce-dev-update-site.zip into a new directory at a convenient location on your file system, preserving the path information in the zip file.
2. Follow the detailed instructions for the installation process in the readme\VCESDKInstructions.html file.

These instructions will guide you through the process of installing the IBM® Support Assistant (ISA) Workbench, installing an Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE), updating Eclipse with the Visual Configuration Explorer SDK, configuring Eclipse to use the SDK, and adding Visual Configuration Explorer and the Visual Configuation Explorer Topology Collector to ISA. These instructions also provide information about how to use the SDK.
