What is Web 2.0 Starter Toolkit for IBM DB2?
Users starting with PHP are faced with the task of downloading a Web server and PHP modules and finding a relational database. The next struggle is to get code enabled for mash-ups, Ajax applications, and Web feeds. Web 2.0 Starter Toolkit for IBM® DB2® is a conveniently packaged set of products and technologies. The kit enables the quick creation of DB2 Web services and feeds using PHP technology.
All items are in one convenient place; these include downloads for PHP extension, an optional PHP IDE (integrated development environment), sample code, flash demonstrations, and DB2 Express – C: a "free to build, deploy, distribute" data server. Also included are tutorials, examples, and other learning materials. This technology runs on Windows®.How does it work?
The Web 2.0 Starter Toolkit for IBM DB2 helps you pull together all the necessary downloads for a complete PHP stack. The toolkit then installs helpful demonstrations and sample code. You can also install the Starter Toolkit demonstrations on top of Zend Core for IBM, a production-ready PHP stack.
