Platform requirements
Operating system: any system that supports Java
Software:
- For origin server: WebSphere Application Server 5.0.1 ("readme" file contains links to full trial version and Fixpack 1)
- Development environment (optional): Either of these:
- an IDE that supports the Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 specifications.
- WebSphere Application Developer 5.0 or above (The readme file contains link to trial version. Optional use of built-in WebSphere Test Environment, provided with WSAD, requires upgrade of Test Environment to version 5.0.1; instructions provided in the readme.txt file.)
Installation instructions
- Extract the contents of WESI.zip to a directory on your hard drive.
- Open the WESI directory and read the readme.txt file. This file contains detailed instructions for using WESI in your Web applications.
