Script Workbench for IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server for Product Information Management

Operating systems: Windows® 2000 (SP4) or Windows XP (SP1, SP2, or SP3)

Hardware: Any Pentium®-based, PC-compatible computer with the following:

• SVGA-compatible display
• any pointing device with at least two buttons
• 128 MB RAM minimum (500 MB recommended)
• 255 MB disk space

Software:

• IBM Java™ 5.0
• IBM Rational Software Architect 7.0.5 or Eclipse 3.2

The Script Workbench plug-ins should be installed as an Eclipse feature using the standard Eclipse feature installation process. Please refer to the Installation Guide (available on the download page) for instructions on configuring the Eclipse Update facility to access the plug-ins and install the feature. The user""s guide provides additional details on setting up server communications.

Notes:

• This version of the Workbench was developed on IBM Rational Software Architect 7.0.5, which includes Eclipse 3.2 and IBM Java 5.0. The Workbench has not been tested on IBM Rational Application Developer, but this environment is expected to function normally.
• Many features of the Workbench can be used without access to a server that has WebSphere Product Center installed. In this isolated environment some of the workbench features, such as exploring the files on a WebSphere Product Center server, will not be usable.
