Installation instructions
- Ensure that the Eclipse preferences show Java 1.4.2 as the JRE that will be used by default to build and run Java programs.
- The Script Workbench plug-ins should be installed as an Eclipse feature using the standard Eclipse feature installation process. Please refer to the Installation Guide (available on the download page) for instructions on configuring the Eclipse Update facility to access the plug-ins and install the feature. The user's guide provides additional details on setting up server communications.
Notes:
- Eclipse is also used as a foundation for other products, such as IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) and IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA). The Workbench can extend these products, although these configurations have not been extensively tested.
- Many features of the Workbench can be used without access to a server that has WebSphere Product Center installed. In this isolated environment some of the workbench features, such as exploring the files on a WebSphere Product Center server, will not be usable.
