Web Services Hosting Technology Version 1.0 was developed by a team of software developers at the IBM Toronto Lab. The team has several years of experience working on hosting technologies supporting IBM’s Websphere and Lotus applications such as Websphere Commerce and Lotus Quickplace. This technology package was produced to demonstrate how hosting technologies can now be used to support Web services and how, in turn, Web service technologies can be used to implement such a hosting environment. Web Services Hosting Technology was developed in close collaboration with the IBM research and lab teams working on the Web Services Tool Kit and the Web Services Gateway.
