Platform requirements for Web Services Response Templates

Operating systems: any Java platform

Software:

  • WebSphere® Studio Application Developer (WSAD) 5.1.0 or above
  • Rational Rose Modeller
  • WS-RT Rose plug-in (name)
  • WS-RT server-side libraries (wst.server.jar)
  • WS-RT client-side libraries (wst.client.jar)

Required deployment environment: AXIS-compliant AppServer or WebSphere® AppServer 5.1.0+

Installation instructions for Web Services Response Templates

Installing the EMF plug-in into WSAD 5.1:

  1. Unzip the WSRT_generator_plugins.zip plug-in in the eclipse/plugins directory of WSAD 5.1.0.
  2. Edit the file plugin.xml in the eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ecore_1.1.0 directory of WSAD 5.1.0 and change the reference codegen.ecore.jar to codegen.ecore.zip.
