Installation instructions
- Make sure you have root user access.
- Run the following command:
The IBM XL C/C++ for Transactional Memory for AIX add-on package consists of the following Installp package: vac.stm.
Within the above Installp package are the following file sets, which will be installed on your system:
- vac.stm 0.9.0.0
- vac.stm.tnb 0.9.0.0
- Before using the compiler, verify that the following environment variables are updated with the correct paths:
- PATH contains /usr/stm/bin
- NLSPATH contains /usr/stm/lib/nls/msg/%L/$N
Uninstallation
- Make sure you have root user access.
- Run the following command:
