About the technology author(s): Noga Meshulam is a research staff member at IBM's Research Lab in Haifa, Israel. She graduated from the Technion, Israel's institute of technology in Haifa, in 1980 and studied for an M.Sc. in Computer Science during 1991-1992. Before joining IBM in 1991, Ms. Meshulam held positions in Gal factory, which develops real-time controllers for irrigation. She has worked in projects in the areas of Multimedia, UI, and Java kiosk framework. Her current interests are in the areas of Internet, Java, and XML technology.
Simona Cohen is a research staff member at IBM's Research Lab in Haifa, Israel. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel's institute of technology in Haifa, in 1986 and 1989 respectively. Before joining IBM in 1993, Ms. Cohen held positions in LanOptics and Graphnet. She has worked in projects in the areas of network management, fax server, real-time fax, Java kiosk framework, and data integration via XML. Her current interests are in the areas of Internet, Java, and XML technology.
